Before you take any steps towards preparing your child to become a model, first make sure that he or she is willing to become a model. Your children may be very cute to look at and very social and happy, but above all they should be willing to go through the fairly arduous process of becoming models. They should be happy to pose for photographs and perform in front of strangers.

The basic initial action should be to prepare a portfolio of the child. Take some good photographs of the child.
