Parents often worry about children, when they to play in the garden, about them getting hurt. It is because of the poisonous plants which the parents think are in the garden. But parents must know there is no need to worry about that and children should not be kept away from plants. But at the same time parents must take the effort to teach the students about which plant is a poisonous plant and which is not. Providing the children proper information and common sense can do this. The toddlers must be taught not to put inside their mouths the leaves, stems, bark, seeds and nuts or berries plant. Parents must always accompany their children especially if they are toddlers and smaller to the garden.

Children are always inquisitive about almost everything and they try to put anything and everything that is new to them. If the children find their parents or brother and sisters eating up berries, but it must be made sure that children should not eat those berries because it may turn out to be poisonous. There are many plants which are poisonous in nature like the poison oak which should not even be touched. However it happens very rarely that a plant has been life- threatening. It is not possible to know every detail about all plants as there are variety of these species, but one thing which the parents can do is to see that their children are not eating any part of any plant.
