Tooth Damages in teens!
Children are prone to tooth damages which include a wide variety of reasons like accidents which are most common because children are least careful about themselves, tooth decay and also dental erosions. It may sound strange that at this very early age the tooth decaying and tooth erosion starts. When bacteria pile up as a sticky layer which is called plaque then decaying of tooth occurs. Tooth erosion happens when the tooth enamel is weakened by the bacteria when they by digesting the sugar of the consumed food make acids. Erosion slowly wears away the enamel present in the tooth. It is caused by the acids which get inside the mouth when children drink sugared drinks. Parents should take good care of the tooth of the children and should go for dentist check up which highly recommended for getting a healthy tooth.
Children should be prevented to drink much sugared drinks, it is difficult since children love fruit drinks and other sugared drinks, but a constant effort must be done. Other than sugared drinks, children love having chocolates, cakes, sweets whose consumption badly affects the tooth of the children. Parents should make the alternative of consuming vegetables which must be fresh which are certainly healthier to the sugary food. For making children avoid drinking sugary drinks, efforts must be made to make them drink water, the best alternative. The other ways to avoid plague and tooth erosion is brushing which must be done twice a day and also the right selection of toothpaste.
