Children are very interesting characters. They seem to know so less yet they know so much. When we say intelligence, we can not mean only the bookish intelligence that a person can develop or the intelligence that develops through experience. By intelligence we also mean, the clear mind with which a person can judge the circumstances.
Kids do have a clear mind. They are free of any prejudices. They can think freely without being imposed by some other being. They speak their mind so clearly. Somebody said “man is most intelligent when he is a child.” This can be very true considering the fact that we face so many constraints when taking a decision and might end up taking the wrong decision. But to the kids, the obvious is the only solution. They are so spontaneous and born clever. The clever nature of a child is disturbed with age when they are devoid of thinking clearly.
Intelligence is in the purest form in kids. Some obvious reasons that we fail to see can be easily pointed out by a child. Nowadays we come across children who are so intelligent that they can count before even they can read. Their listening power is greatly developed.
A child can really show light to man himself. That’s why maybe it is said, “A child is the father of the man.”
