Taking your kids loose tooth out

I was asked to review a site featuring a video to take out kids loose tooth. On first instance I was shocked to see the video and thought it was pretty dangerous and evil. After searching and consulting few parents I came to know that this is indeed a practice in some parts of the world.
However, to me it still is a very scary preposition.

I wont discuss how exactly it is done and neither I would recommend to even try it.
But still for the knowledge sake I would like to share this with you. This technique is called Tooth… String… Doorknob. As the name suggests, you need a loose (really loose) tooth, a sting ( usually dental floss as it is more hygienic ) and a door knob fitted firmly on a door.

A couple of serious recommendations for those amateur dentists who decide that both you and your kids are brave enough to try this out. Make sure, your kid’s tooth is loose enough that a doorknob can pull it out… I’m sure you can imagine the results if this is not the case.
Secondly, make sure you use a round doorknob, not a lever handle. If the string slips along the handle as the door is shutting, you won’t get a nice clean pop out of the gum. It’ll hurt more than it needs to.
Lastly, use dental floss to do it rather than actual string, it’ll be more hygienic.

I would recommend this to be done under strict supervision and with permission of your dentist.
