Teenage pregnancy
Teenage girls fall into the easy prey of teenage pregnancy. Definitely teenage pregnancy is a crime and these incidents are increasing at an alarming rate. Two main reasons can be cited for this, the first is that parents mostly working ones remain aloof about what their teenage daughters are doing. Secondly there is a lack of communication between the parents and their wards. Most parents don’t talk to their children about sex because of the communication gap. Parents should try and tell their children that love doesn’t always mean to indulge in sex. Teenage pregnancy not only increases the risk of STD but it is also a blow to the emotional and mental strength. Since the society has become such that teenagers indulge in these activities and end up messing their lives, it becomes for the parents to take proper care of their children. Teenagers are emotionally very weak compared to the adults and they don’t have the capability to deal with the problems of having children at this decisive age. Parents should see and stress their children to keep themselves abstained from sex. Teenagers mostly indulge in unprotected sex, which increases the chances of getting HIV positive. In case, a teenage understands that she is pregnant it is advisable that she should immediately talk to her parents and if abortion is not possible, then the teen parent must know to take proper care of her child. This can be done with the help of her own parents, taking less stress, giving unconditional love, giving time to the child are highly advisable.
